Back then in 2019 (perhaps), I attended a gigs with my loved ones.
It's an intimate concert of our favorite
band.
I would say that it just a coincidence that
we like the same band between all the possible band that we could choose to
like.
But idk, it's just how the life works, isn't it? Haha
We were using public transportation to get
to the venue
We strolling around Jakarta with our best
mood because this band was always in my lifetime bucket list to watch!
I already listen to that band songs from
the first album until the last one. I even memorized all the songs lyrics!
We finally arrived at venue
This venue is freshly renovated and became a suitable place to spending the night with all these entertainment things
We enter the venue, window-shopping the
merchandise, getting our tickets, and enter the gigs room without no hesitation
We didn't got the best front line but our
view was good enough to enjoy the show (I thought her view was a bit blocked by a tall man that standing in front of her haha but she still managed the way to enjoy the show to the fullest)
In between of the excitement, I said to her
"Kamu udah ngapalin semua
lagunya?"
"Ehm belom sih, aku paling denger-denger
aja lagu-lagu yang aku suka. Sisanya paling dengerin shuffle di playlistnya
mereka" she said with coolness and catch me confused
"Kamu ngapalin semuanya?" she
continued
"Iya dong! Aku bener-bener ngapalin
semua lagunya. Dari album pertama malah haha biar nikmatin shownya sambil sing
along sampe suaraku abis!" I replied with proud
"aku juga bakal nikmatin shownya sampe
puas!" she replied with more proud
"tanpa tau semua liriknya?" I
said thet to flirt her
"buat nikmatin lagu tuh ga harus hapal
liriknya tau" she replied confident.
I lift my left eyebrow and gave the
expression like, youu sureeeeeee dudee????????? She laughin then
"kalau ada lagu yang kamu gatau
liriknya, dengerin aja musiknya dan nikmatin vibesnya" she added that fast
enough
I didn't got what she told me about and
just accepted that with confused
Like, how can we enjoy the music concert
without singing along all the songs?
And then the show started
The first song that they play was one of
the hits thet their fans well-known
Of course, I singing along with all my heart
And she singing along too with all her
heart
The next song was their hits of their
latest album
I was sure that I am singing along with all my heart, again
She was listening to the verse with big
smile and when the chorus came out she singing along with all her heart again
Because the setlist was not announced, we
were really blind about what songs that going to play next
And then the time when we all didn't know
the song has finally arrived
It was their hits in their second album
that came out about 20 years ago (maybe) and it's a deep cuts!
Almost 90% of the crowd didn't know that
song
I looked at her and she just smile as her
eyes saying, this time we will enjoy the music without the lyrics! Letsgo!
As I can remember, the song was pretty
absurd but I remembered that I laughin so hard right from the start that song
played
It's because they invited a guest star to
sang their song, which is makin it more absurd!
The surprise, the performance, the dance
that I did was pretty insane
I having a good time by just enjoying music
without knowing the lyrics
That event makes me realize so many things
that happened to my life until now
In terms to found happiness, there is no
specific way to achieve it, there is no just one way to grab it
Hapiness can be found with thousands ways that you never thought before.
Just like enjoying music
You can having a good time with singing
along with it or enjoying the music without knowing the lyrics either
As this essay published on my blog, I just
heard a song from a band named Sleep Alley
Sleep Alley is a band from Makati City,
Philippines
And you know what, I really love their
music ahaha
Can't imagined before I enjoyed a song that
has lyrics which I can't understand
I wish, you can found happiness with a way
that you can't understand too ahaha
