It was the second time at night that we visit rest area in Jagorawi's tol
She want to eat Oden at lawson, meanwhile I
never taste Oden in my life
She always be a cheer-bright person when
she knew that I never do thing that she already done and it would be my first
time experience.
In this case, it would be me meet Oden
The door alarm rangs as we enter the shop
All I wanted is a bitter sweet drinks but
not coffee
It's already late night and I need enough
amount of sleep for my energy to grinding the road way back to Bandung
But anything that lawson offer was not
familiar for me
"Rekomendasiin aku dong" I ask
her while standing just right behind her, queue to order
"Ehmm... Kamu udah pernah nyoba
minuman itu belom?" she pointing at the menu and once again I was not
familiar with it. I forgot the name of the drinks too
I said, "Ehmmm kayanya terlalu manis
deh..." I continue searching the drinks that I felt would be suit for me
"Ah, itu kayanya pas tuh. Aku pesen
Ice chocolate-caramel ya" Im pretty sure that chocolate caramel is
followed by some region like chocolate-caramel arabica or chocolate-caramel
from hawaii, but jeez I forgot it (again)
She ordered the dri nks that she pointed to
me before and pick 3 kinds of Oden carefully
It's so exciting to watch her getting
focused on something that she likes
Just like a kid facing delicious gelato
I can't read anything that running inside
her head
But if I permited to guess, I thought she
was thinking how to impress me with things that I never do before
The door alarm rangs as we leave the shop
and we sat on a simple metal table with three chairs
We drop our belongings to the one of three
chair and enjoy our meals
Right before I drink my ice
chocolate-caramel, she ate a piece of Oden and take a sip of hot soup.
Her face showing how happy she was with the
taste of her Oden
She really looks extremely happy, and I
enjoyed her expressions too
No need a minute, she offered me to give a
taste on Oden that she bought
Well, in no time I take the hot bowl Oden
from her hand
And it surprisingly good!
"Ish enak banget!" I said
"Iya kannn!" she replied happier
That night was followed by we updated our
life so far
Since we kind of rarely talks in chat, it
makes our meeting richer with tons of conversation that we never talk about
before
And I loved every seconds of it
Hours later we go home
Just after we hit the Jagorawi's tol again,
I see to the outside window of front passenger seat (she drove the car btw.
It's cool! Right?") I got spaced out while my mind thinking things
The most of things that I thinking was how
grateful I am to be able to spent my time with her. And Im forever cherish for
every second of it
While Im already 26. I still cant imagine
how the future will show me
Life is quite complicated and mysterious
lately
Yesterday we can absolutely sad for no damn
reason
But today we can be happy as we never
imagined it would be
In terms of who will be my life partner, I
really dont have any idea too.
Meanwhile the future is so far yet so close
But since that night, I'll try my best not
to worry anything about it
That night, I comitted to cherish everything
to the fullest
And I really happy to spent my whole time
with her
"Kamu ngantuk ya? Jangan tidur
dong!" she said after that long spaced that happened between us
"Eh engga lah! Masa iya ngantuk baru
jam segini" I said the truth, but not what I thinking while I spaced out
before
"Jangan tidur dong! Masa aku nyetir
sendiri. Nih aku setelin lagu" she rotating volume button up and picking
radio station by herself
"Sini sini aku aja yang pilihin"
I said to her
"Nah gitu dong" she smiled right
after. A smile that living last in my mind
I remembered that we were not sang a song
from the radio because no one songs that we knew and played by the radio
And I am continue to gazing outside the car windows
"Rumah KPR cuma 600 juta tanpa DP...kamu
mau ga?"
"Aduh... kamu duluan deh" she
said with grumpy and less energetic mood, and followed with giggles and laugh
Oh God, she is so gorgeous
Like she always be
Anyway, why the price of houses at my generation is so high?
